Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Dr. Goldsmith's Care Philosophy

"I feel it is my responsibility to keep kids safe and to explain clearly to families why we are recommending various treatment options. We can be true partners with parents and their children by teaching as we provide care. As your child's pediatrician, I have the responsibility to provide appropriate care while considering the cost to the families. I chose pediatric medicine because I love children; their energy and their natural curiosity. I have always found it fulfilling to learn the scientific basis of problems. To me, the combination of pediatrics and endocrinology is the perfect mix."
