Dr. Martha Murray is an orthopedic surgeon at Boston Children Hospital's Orthopedic Center in Sports Medicine. She specializes in the care of patients with knee injuries, including ACL injuries, meniscus injuries and osteochondritis dissecans. She sees patients in Boston and Waltham. Dr. Murray has devoted her career to not only providing the best possible care to patients today, but also to discovering and translating the newest, science-based, technologies to improve the future care of patients with these injuries. She has won multiple awards for her work in advancing orthopedic surgical techniques, including the Kappa Delta Award from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, considered the highest award in orthopedic surgery. She has also won the Cabaud Award, considered the highest award in Sports Medicine, three times. She is currently a member of the NIH/NIAMS Advisory council, as well as the Research Development Committee of the AAOS.
