What People Say About Dr. Marsha Wheeler, MD
RecentHighestLowestMost Helpful
My first appointment for screening my twins, Dr Wheeler came in after 30 minutes of waiting. She poured the gel on my belly, grabbed the probe, and said, "See this baby? This one has a full spine. See this baby? This one does not. We think it has Spina Bifita. It's YOUR fault, for having diabetes." Her nurses tried to push me to abort the babies, instead of letting me gauge what was wrong on the first visit. She has no bedside manner and because of her, I was in a depression for several months.

We went to her for a prenatal screening of our baby who has been diagnosed with a chromosome issue. She didn't say what she saw on the ultrasound. Just looked at us when it was done, and asked us what we wanted. It was difficult to get information about the screening. She told us she saw markings related to his condition, but not which ones or what it means in the long run. We asked about anything else the baby might have and were told he's still too small to see. We left more confused.
