I've never been to a worse doctor. I had an anal fistula Dr. Harris didn't diagnose for more than a month, saying instead that I had a nervous disorder. I was in extreme pain. I went to another colorectal surgeon, was diagnosed that day and had surgery that week. I felt completely myself a week later. I still can't believe how negligently I was treated by Dr. Harris.

Very negative experience
I had an incredibly negative experience with Dr. Harris. She felt rushed and did not explain my diagnosis clearly. When I asked follow up questions she was extremely condescending and at one point said coldly “what do you mean, I explained that to you already” (even though she then realized I was asking about something else that she had not, in fact, explained). I was expecting to love her based on all of her positive reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a doctor in my entire life.

Terrific, present, caring, talented doctor
A real pleasure to find a doctor like Marsha Harris, MD who is skilled, present and talented. She has a spotlessly clean office. Her personality is wonderful. She is smart and puts her patient, me, totally at ease. She heard me about my fear of pain and kept me out of pain after surgery. She is encouraging. Excellent surgeon. Very glad to find her to do my colon rectal surgery. I felt I was totally taken care of.

Fifth doctor I went to - she got the job done
Dr. Harris is such a sweet soul. Have bounced around from doctor to doctor for a few years, whom have mostly told me to live with my condition. Dr. Harris was almost more excited than I was to fix the situation. Made me feel so comfortable - cracked some very funny jokes. Thank you for helping me improve my quality of life.

I love Dr. Harris! She is so great! I first learned of her on Sirius Satellite Radio on The Doctor Channel and tucked her name away until I was ready to address my situation. If anyone was going to help me, I wanted it to be her because of her expertise and extensive experience. I immediately felt comfortable when I met with her at the consultation and could not be any happier since the procedure was done! I'm SO HAPPY! Thank you Dr. Harris!

Response to the negative review
How unfortunate that a colorectal surgeon couldn't help you remove your head from your own behind. As a current patient, I have seen patients of all ages and ethnicities leave her immaculately clean office with a smile knowing that between her and her staff they will be well taken care of. She's thorough, kind and my only regret is that she isn't a primary care physician.

Listens and cares
Dr. Harris takes the time to listen to your problem. She proceeds to do a gentle and thorough exam explaining what she's doing step by step and explaining her findings in a clear manner. She prescribed a medication and even said let me know if you have any insurance issues. She is not bothered by questions and said to call if problem persists. Truly grateful to Dr. Harris.

Dr. Harris is a spectacular doctor and also incredibly warm, patient, and caring. I am amazed at how comfortable she makes you feel while dealing with the most ‘embarrassing’ part of the body! I trust her implicitly and am so glad I found her. I could not recommend her more highly.

Dr Harris is professional, and also so compassionate, funny, and kind. She listened to me, provided a thorough exam and diagnosis, and is doing ongoing treatment. I really trust and respect her, and feel comfort in the knowledge that she’ll give me the best care. In addition, the office itself is immaculate and felt quite safe in this scary Covid era. So highly recommended.

Great doctor. I'd seen two other highly regarded and qualified doctors before I saw Dr. Harris. The others didn't help despite lengthy treatment regimens. Dr. Harris helped quickly and efficiently. She also has great bedside manner despite the inherent embarrassment given the type of issues she treats. Wholeheartedly recommend.
