Marlys Freese, PT-GCS, earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Northwestern College of Iowa and a certificate in physical therapy from the University of Iowa. She has experience in both acute inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, specializing in geriatrics and is most interested in vestibular, balance and orthopedics, including neck, back and extremities. She is a certified geriatric specialist. In her free time, Marlys enjoys outdoor activities, sporting events and spending time with family.
Every person is an individual and unique in their symptoms and how best to be treated. It requires a thorough examination and treatment plan that is individualized and done in collaboration with the patient based on current research to allow them to achieve their goals. For my geriatric population, my ultimate goal is to address the problem to allow them to age successfully.
