Dr. Winston repaired a torn bicep for me. The surgery was explained perfectly and in an easy-to-understand fashion. Scheduling was quick and easy and the surgery went exceptionally well. He has guided my recovery and I am completely satisfied with the whole experience. FYI his physician's assistant is awesome as well. Surgery was at the Orthopedic Institute and I highly recommend using the facility if you find a need for orthopedic surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Winston.

I had surgery for "trigger" thumb and it is healing nicely. Everything went smoothly. Dr. Winston was professional and kind. His staff was accommodating in terms of time and location for the procedure. I would have liked a handout with exercises rather than having to google it, but that is a minor concern. I also would have liked additional information about my co-pay as I got confused about the hospital charges (which my insurance pays) and the amount for the doctor. Guess that's on me though = should have checked with my insurance company before paying the hospital.

Dr. Winston and staff are both friendly, helpful, and on time in my experience. I had an especially good experience the day of surgery at the Surgicenter of Johnson County facility. Everyone made sure to introduce themselves, explain what their role was in the process, and made sure to ask at least once if I had any questi90ns or concerns, Bravo!

Dr. Winston and the staff that works with him are awesome. He operated on my right thumb in June 2020. After moving out of state, I returned to Kansas to have him perform the same surgery on my left thumb. Looking forward to getting back to all my favorite activities.
