I feel very confident in visiting Dr. Picone. He spends as much time as needed and clearly explains his diagnosis. I always feel much better leaving than going in. Dr Picone is excellent at quelling ones nervousness.

In 2009 I was having a problem I thought was with my heart. I scheduled a test with Dr. Picone. He found that I had several blockages and had an excellent surgeon do my bypass surgery. I am still doing very well. I would recommend Dr. Picone to anyone for heart related problems.

I've been his patient for about 12 years. He explains things clearly without having to pull teeth. He has done coronary angioplasty on me once. He tried to do a carotid artery stent placement but couldn't get to the necessary place in the artery due to calcification so he has referred me to a very competent vascular surgeon ( who he had he referred me to once before for a review of the placement of a stent in the superior mesenteric artery by an interventional radiologist. He's very competent.

Dr. Picone is considerate and compassionate, listens intently and never hurries his time with a patient. Add to these positives his sense of humor and this senior citizen rates him as the best doctor in my lifetime. This is not in any way is to diminish his professionalism.
