Dr. Ottolin was thorough in my exam and relaying the results of my numerous tests. He voice records his notes while you are in the meeting so you know they are accurate.

You probably are not use to a doctor telling you exacting like it is instead of what you want to hear. He is a true professional, who cares deeply about his patients and their well being.

This doctor has a very rude bedside manner. If you do not answer his questions properly he becomes very rude. He is not a good doctor as far I am concerned. I will be looking for a new one. The doctor I had in his group retired which was excellent. A sorry day for me that I lost a good doctor who cared.

Since merging his practice into DuPage Medical Group, I have been unable to get an appointment with him in under 3 months wait time. I’ve been seeing him for more than 10 years and now I am relegated to seeing a PA. I can’t even get in to discuss the results of my annual stress echo test, which I had to beg his PA to order even though Ottolin ordered it annually since I have seen him. The business of medicine must be horrible for caring doctors.

He really looks at the whole picture not just the heart. Keeps looking until he has an answer. Personally calls you to discuss test results. He has a nice sense of humor which is rare in a doctor.
