O'Brien earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his residency through the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program in Fort Wayne, IN. O'Brien is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Occupational Medicine. O'Brien brought more than 20 years of experience in urgent care and occupational medicine to DeKalb Health Medical Group when he joined us in 2012. Before joining DeKalb Health, he served on the medical staff at Urgent Care of Cameron Hospital in Angola for four years. In addition, he served as medical director of Parkview Occupational Health Centers in Fort Wayne. O'Brien has also served as an occupation medical resident at hospitals in Cincinnati and Indianapolis, as well as medical director of both occupational medicine and the emergency department at McCray Memorial Hospital in Kendallville."

I feel mixed about Dr. O'Brien, I think he is extremely smart Dr. but he seems always in a rush. His office staff will confirm he seems ADHD, so easily distracted and always trying to move to the next thing. So at times he is great and at other times but not so much.

Worst experience with a physician. Spent less than 30 seconds with patient and managed to insult and improperly and incompletely treat patient.
