I saw him one time for knee pain after falling on my knees in a parking lot. It was during COVID-19 and my orthopedist was not seeing patients. I had been diagnosed with bone bruising. He convinced me my problem was OA and recommended steroid injections of both knees. I refused as I am sensitive to steroids. He assured me none of the steroid was absorbed systemically so I agreed. He then injected a MASSIVE OVERDOSE of Celestone Soluspan to my knees bilaterally (total 24mg). He lied about no systemic absorption -- it is all absorbed systemically. I was a fit 100 woman before the injections. 2 months later I have developed a cushingoid state -- 7 pound weight gain, fat redistribution, rolls of belly fat, double chin, swollen face, muscle atrophy. This "doctor" never read my chart which stated I was on diuretics. It turns out I had only mild OA (as his own after visit note stated.) He did the procedure for the money. He should be drummed out of the medical profession.

As per my college daughter who was his patient temporarily until I found a physician for her near home.... not impressed. He is a poor communicator and much to my dismay never resubmitted an MRI order when insurance initially denied it (as they often do). Dealing with his office was beyond painful and frustrating. No one notified my daughter that the insurance was denied so she waited and waited. No one returns calls!! Incompetent, unprofessional, no real acttual patient CARE!

Dr Mirabelli did some injections on my wife's knee. Though I ,wasn't the recipient of the procedure, (luckily) I felt he was very thorough in his explanation of what was to happen ,later options, and compassionate. For that I am grateful....Al (Susan Karnas's husband)

I would give zero stars if I could. He doesn't even read your chart! I had seen him on a prior occasion in the past year and he thought I was a new patient and introduced himself. I was not impressed with his expertise and level of care on either visit. He did absolutely nothing to help my condition. I will not return and I definitely do not recommend him.

Dr. Mirabelli runs 2 hours late yet he is impatient with his patients. He was unpleasant from the minute he entered the exam room. He should work on his bedside manner. He was unprepared for my visit, not realizing there were x-rays and an MRI that he should have reviewed first. I would not recommend him. Find a doctor who cares. This guy clearly does not.

This man changed my concepts of how competent and caring a Doctor can and should be! He's one of only a few Orthopedic specialists in the Rochester, NY area who use sonography to be absolutely sure the needle placement is precise, in my case Cortisone injections in both hips. I'm thankful for his care.

Dr.Mirabelli is an amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable in many fields of health. He takes his time and truly cares about his patients. I've been through many doctors in my life and he is the greatest. Of he tells me something, I have so much trust I would never go for a second opinion. He has been my doctor for years and I will never change that. I highly recommend him!
