I am Dr. Michels poster child. I could barely see my hand in front of my face and now I see well enough to qualify for a Driver's license. Thank you Dr. Michels for your care and treatment. You are both professional and caring

Dr. Michels and his retinal associates offer the most up-to-date and meticulous care and treatment for retinal disease. They perform a detailed examination and precise measurement with the latest technology to pinpoint your issues and create a treatment to improve your vision as quickly as possible. Every situation is different but I experienced marked improvement from Dr. Michels decisions and care. I was very confident in their care and up-to-date knowledge in retinal disease.

Very satisfied. Had detached retina on December 23, 2015 and was seen by Dr. Michels at his office after referral from my eye doctor. I arrived at his office at approximately 10:30 AM. I was at the surgergy center my 11:00 AM. Dr. Michels arranged for the center to remain open (being two days before Christmas, the center was scheduled to do last surgery at 12 noon). My surgery was done at 1:00 PM and I was home by 4:;00 PM. It was a long surgery with buckle and gas bubble.

Dr. Michels has been my retina care physician for about 18 years. He has always provided excellent care, including laser surgery and injections when needed to manage wet macular degeneration caused by 30+ years of diabetes. He provides clear and complete explanations regarding treatment and readily answers any questions I have. I’m confident that I owe my existing vision to his competent care. I highly recommend Dr. Michels and his capable staff to anyone who may need care for their vision.

I have been a patient of Dr. Michels since 2003. At that time I suffered an emergency retinal detachment. Dr. Michels treated me promptly and came in on the weekend when his office was closed to continue my care. Another physician had told me he doubted my sight could be restored. Not only did Dr. Michels.restore my sight but I enjoyed 20/20 vision. Over the years he has continued giving me the same outstanding care. I recommend him highly to friends and everyone else.
