He is very thorough, professional and friendly. A rare find with doctors given how busy they all seem. VERY personable.

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

      Dr. Meier's Care Philosophy

As a Family Physician, my goal is to assist my patients to be as healthy as they want to be, by working with them as a teammate to: First, help them stay in good health through preventative measures; secondly, by diagnosing illness through thorough physical examination and recommended testing; and finally, by treating illness with the most modern methods available. I use evidence-based research results to determine the correct treatment of illness and the conservative use of prescription medication for my patients.

I am very dedicated to my patients and consider my work as much of a "ministry" as a job, which I believe is reflected in the way that I care for my patients.  I believe that my entire office staff works with this same mind-set.

      Dr. Meier says...

A well-trained and experienced Family Physician can treat 90% of the problems that walk into their office, and I consider myself in that category. In addition to all of the usual conditions that you would expect a Family Physician to do, I have had additional training during my residency years in Dermatology and Sports Medicine/Orthopedics, and I am able to do much of this type of work myself, without referring out of my office.
