Dr. McMahon spends time listening to you. He explains why he makes a specific recommendation, and explains the procedures, answering your questions as they occur. He makes you feel that you matter as a person, not just a joint to be taken care of. He also has a sense of humor.

Dr McMahon was very thorough and very direct with me. But is holding off treatment until we get the results of the MRI he ordered. Pretty convinced that I will need a hip replacement but is covering all bases first with the MRI order.

I have seen Dr. McMahon for several orthopedic injuries. I have the highest trust and confidence in him. During my last office visit, he immediately diagnosed my shoulder injury and assuaged my fears it would be a long term recovery with surgery. He answered all my questions fully. His friendly and professional demeanor were especially reassuring.

Dr McMahon was fantastic! Took ex rays, explained everything why I didn’t need the knee replacement I thought I would need and prescribed physical therapy. I got a cortisone shot and now pain is gone . Very professional and took lots of time explaining everything.

Dr McMahon has been great. I fractured my hand about 6 weeks ago and 3 weeks later my 9yo son broke his wrist! He has been taking great care of both of us. He is very knowledgeable and kind, takes his time during appointments and answers all our questions. He is honest and I appreciated when he consulted his colleague on the best treatment plan for my son. As a fellow healthcare provider, I understand sometimes 2 heads are better than one. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Dr. McMahon. He performed a total hip replacement (anterior approach) on my left hip and did an excellent job. He takes the time to explain things and answer questions so I can understand, without being condescending. He never rushed through things on any of my appointments. He does often run late, but that's because he's talking to his patients and not hurrying through things. When I asked about post-surgery abilities, he was realistic in telling me what to expect.
