Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Levin graduated from the University of Illinois and earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago. He completed internships in Pathology from the University of Chicago and in Medicine from New England Deaconess Hospital, where he also completed his residency in Medicine. Dr. Levin completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Chicago and is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Since 1999, Dr. Levin has served as Chief of Infectious Diseases at MacNeal Hospital. He also served in leadership positions on the Medical Staffs on Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center and Lutheran General Hospital. He had teaching appointments at Rush Medical College and Chicago Medical School and was honored for his distinguished teaching and clinical expertise. Dr. Levin is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Microbiology and the Infectious Disease Society of America. He is an infectious disease specialist serving patients in Berwyn and throughout Chicago.
