The doctor is a renowned eye surgeon and deservedly so. However, be prepared to wait in his office for 3-4 hours to see him (this has happened to me 3 out of 3 times). He is a gregarious and friendly person, and will spend time explaining things. If you are a vanilla glaucoma patient like me (under control with drops), you might be better off with a clinic that is not so overbooked. If you need complex surgery, he's a good choice, but be patient.

Excellent surgeon. Very informative and professional. He explains the procedure to the fullest. Very compassionate about his work. I can't say enough how great he is!

Dr. Kuperwaser is very knowledgeable and personable and has a good sense of humor. He explains things to my satisfaction and if I don't understand the first time and ask questions he clarifies. He does seem to be overbooked sometimes which makes it seem like he's a bit rushed. His assistant is also great and very thorough. I have recommended him to family and friends.
in Boston, MA |
He is rude, arrogant, he does not bother himself to explain the patient what's going on with his health. If one asks a question, he'll answer in a disdainful way. His bedside manners are nonexistent. This doctor seems to hate his job. He treats patients as if they were not human beings, just medical records
