Dr. Groh was fantastic for my surgery (five by-passes and mitral valve repair). Not only is he, in my opinion, an excellent heart surgeon, but a gentleman as well. From the day I first met him until discharged from his care I felt that I was in the hands of a very capable physician.

I was diagnosed with a Root Aortic Aneurysm with severe regurgitation and referred to Dr Groh. Dr Groh confirmed this diagnosis and surgery was scheduled. During the initial consultation Dr Groh was very thorough in his explanation of the issue, the process he would use to correct the issue and what I could expect afterwards. 12 weeks post op I was cycling 17 miles a day and am currently training to do 2 bike races in October. Overall an excellent experience with Dr Groh.

Facing heart surgery when I was only 54 years old and never, never, ever having any health problems was a shock. Dr. Groh put me at ease about it so that I was able to get through the surgery and recovery with minimum worries. He is a wonderful surgeon and a super nice man!
