Dr. Goldberger Says:

Patient comments can play a vital role in assisting other patients in making a decision about a health care provider. As a rule, these comments should be constructive and not destructive especially if you feel that other prospective patients need to be informed of issues with your provider or the office in general.  Inaccurate and inappropriate commentary does not benefit the provider...

Patient Comments (5)
in Chicago, IL |
Dr. Goldenberg completely messed my mother's back up, worst part is she had to beg him to take an xray 6 months after her surgery due to still being in extreme pain. He was so arrogant that his work was so great there was no need for an xray. When she finally cried and begged for him to prove her wrong and do the xray, he realized the screws he has put in her back were both broken. He did a 2nd surgery to repair, left the broken screws in added 2 more and a cage. A year later had 3rd surgery
This commentary is absurd and likely full of inaccurately embellished information. Unfortunately, this was NOT even provided by the patient but supposedly by a family member. So, although Healthgrades chose to publish this review, I can't even say that this represents a commentary on the care that I provided, especially since the writer didn't even spell my name correctly.
New Baltimore, MI |
Worst Dr and staff ever could not even find a L2 vertebra break on a CT scan nurse was supposed to send script for Mr i and never re driver one left husband in pain for 10 days waiting for one finally found a good Dr out at Beaumont If Ever Get Himassigned To You At Hospital Refuse His Help Must Be A Quack
Again, another example of grandiose opinions masked by the guise of anonymity. Unfortunately, there is no way to substantiate these claims or even determine if this commentary came from an actual patient of mine. If the writer is truly a patient, it is abundantly clear that your whole office experience was far from optimal based on your critical evaluation. As far as my quackdom, I am confident in my educational background and technical surgical skills. I wish your husband a healthy life.

I would recommend Dr. Goldberger. He was professional, honest, and answered all my questions. I was referred to him after two other doctors could not diagnosis my problem. Dr. Goldberger found the problem right away. He performed surgery and now I have complete feeling back in my hands and legs.
in New Baltimore, MI |
I suffered a ruptured disc that caused excruciating pain and numbness in my left leg and foot. I was taken to McLaren Macomb, had an MRI, and Dr. Goldberger immediately diagnosed my problem and scheduled me for surgery. He explained every step, before and after. The surgery eliminated my pain and numbness, and I was actually up and walking hours after my surgery. Dr. Goldberger gave me a new lease on life. I have no reservations recommending him to any family member or friend.

Dr. Goldberger's care was above and beyond on my family's very complicated case. He was always up to date and explained everything so that we could understand it. I appreciated his professionalism and persistence. I can recommend without hesitation.
