I have been blessed to have many life-altering and lifesaving doctors in my lifetime, Dr. Goldberger is now added to that list. After discussing several options, we decided to fuse the least amount of levels in hopes of me having continued motion/mobility of the cervical spine. After surgery and while still half-sedated, I do remember grabbing Dr. Goldberger by the arm, with a reassuring shake, and giving him a few pats to let him know that the operation was a complete success. Simply, the best.

Dr. Goldberger repaired my neck injury... Fusion at C3/C4, and C5,C6,C7 levels following an auto accident. Recovery has been somewhat slow due to cancer recovery, however, today I am cancer free and my neck rehabilitation is finishing. I could not be happier the clinical outcome I have experienced from this truly caring professional...

Dr Goldberger is a fantastic spinal surgeon. He explains what needs to be done until you understand exactly what he will do during surgery. I was in pain for 4 years because I was afraid of surgery. I was stupid, because after my surgery I was pain free other than the pain of having surgery. He may not have good bed side manners, but I would rather have a fantastic surgeon and that he is.

I had ruptured, herniated discs at C5-C6 and C6-C7, causing severe foraminal narrowing and resulting in cervical radiculopathy - neck pain and left arm numbness. Dr. Goldberger performed a 2-level cervical disc arthroplasty with Mobi-C artificial discs on 2/22/2018. I am now symptom-free with full range of motion in my neck. Dr. Goldberger thoroughly explained potential risks and benefits of the procedure. Pre- and post-surgical care was exemplary. I highly recommend Dr. Goldberger and his staff

Dr. Goldenberg completely messed my mother's back up, worst part is she had to beg him to take an xray 6 months after her surgery due to still being in extreme pain. He was so arrogant that his work was so great there was no need for an xray. When she finally cried and begged for him to prove her wrong and do the xray, he realized the screws he has put in her back were both broken. He did a 2nd surgery to repair, left the broken screws in added 2 more and a cage. A year later had 3rd surgery

I suffered a ruptured disc that caused excruciating pain and numbness in my left leg and foot. I was taken to McLaren Macomb, had an MRI, and Dr. Goldberger immediately diagnosed my problem and scheduled me for surgery. He explained every step, before and after. The surgery eliminated my pain and numbness, and I was actually up and walking hours after my surgery. Dr. Goldberger gave me a new lease on life. I have no reservations recommending him to any family member or friend.
