Hi Mark 2011-12 this is not the best way to thank you for your Incredible hard and difficult time saving my leg. I have been praying for my bitterness with PRM hospital & staff on the Ortho floor, pouring my infected waist in the b.room sink. I do want to thank the only 2 nurses that cared for me 1 male and a young female that had just gotten Married. Im so sorry for letting this bitter take away the BLESSINGS of your skills and the surgical team for saving my R.leg you are a TRUE BLESSING.

Initially Dr. Freeman can be blunt and not seem very friendly, but is obviously proficient in his field. He explains what he thinks needs to be done and what to expect. Dr. Freeman’s real expertise comes when he performs surgery. He is above excellent in his field and he spends the time and effort to get your surgery right. He is great at explaining what to watch out for, how to improve your recovery, and what you should avoid doing (and why). If needed, I would choose Dr. Freeman again.

Dr. Freeman performed a left hip replacement on me ten years ago and it returned so much of my life back. I did not know I was hurting so bad until after the surgery because the pain had developed over such a long period of time. Excellent communication about procedure and prosthesis. Walking a mile the first week and back to work in three weeks with no scheduled PT. Dr. Freeman does excellent work but it is up to patient to do their part after surgery.

Dr. Freeman performed a hip replacement revision surgery on me 6 weeks ago. He is honest, intelligent and has a very good bedside manner. I was informed of any and all complications that may come during and after my revision surgery, which helped me make informed decisions. He does not rush in his office appointments and is happy to answer all questions. I highly recommend him, he is the best at what he does.

Very honest dr. He will tell u like it is. He doesn't hold back nothing. Had knee replacement and everyone including my PT couldn't believe he dont use staples. Less scaring. He even told me the surgery would flare up my fibromyalgia and wanted to make sure I could handle it. BOY WAS HE RIGHT! But it was worth the pain. My knee done great. Getting ready to have the other replace. So if u need a great orthopedics see DR FREEMAN

Dr. Freeman did a left hip disarticulation on my husband 13 years ago when it seemed like there was little hope of survival. Today we saw Dr. Freeman. My husband has been a quadriplegic for 50 years. The last 13 have to be credited to Dr. Freeman's work. So, at 69 my husband continues to defy the odds and much of that can be attributed to the extremely complex surgery Dr. Freeman participated in 13 years ago. Excellent surgical skills based on the odds given. Listens to patient. Explains well.

Before my total hip replacement, I researched a number of sources to find out the best hip surgeon in the Chattanooga area.. Invariably Dr. Freeman's name would come up! A number of my good sources said that he was the doctor that "fixes" other surgeons mistakes! I am glad I went with Dr. Freeman.. He did a great job on my hip, and he was very professional in his information to me. ( I asked many questions ) He was positive about the outcome, but discussed the true pros & cons of major surgery.

Dr Freeman is wonderful. He did an outstanding hip replacement on me. My surgery had complications but he was able to make the necessary decisions and then be able to implement them flawlessly. My surgery was painless due to his famous "Freeman cocktail"of complimentary meds to block the multiple pain pathways that can cause discomfort. The Erlanger surgical suite and staff are wonderful. I was working in 3 weeks and fully released after only 7 weeks to all activities. He helped my golf swing!

I was recently seen by Dr. Freeman and couldn't be more pleased. I have had knee 3 previous surgeries including a partial knee replacement by another surgeon prior to moving to the Tennessee area. I was very impressed with the amount of time he spent with me and after tests we discussed options. He gave me the most in depth book of information I have ever been given regarding preparation prior to surgery, what to expect, the hospital stay, physical therapy, healing process. Highly recommended

I would not recommend this dr. He is very arrogant & rude. He acted like he was the god of orthopedics. His staff is fine, including the physician's assistant.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Freeman! He did a hip replacement for my mom that has been an answer to prayers. My mom put off hip replacement surgery due to a metal allergy, but unable to determine which metal. Dr. Freeman was able to suggest the appropriate testing (something other doctors had not been able to) and performed the surgery. Mom's quality of life has improved so much! He is an excellent physician!

Dr Freeman gave me a Total Hip Replacement 2 months ago and now I feel terrific. He and his staff, as well as the nurses at Erlanger were nothing short of fantastic. If I ever need another joint replacement it will definitely be with Dr Freeman. I am totally pain free after years of agony.

Professional but personable. He is easy to talk to and ask questions, and answered honestly which i appreciated. I was not rushed and he was genuinely interested in me as a person and my own particular situations that would affect my care and treatment. Above all, he did not push me toward immediate surgery which I will eventually need.

Dr. Freeman was degrading and insulting, and showed a great deal of ignorance regarding my medical conditions. I have several other doctors with whom I've been for several years, who know me very well, and know that I'm a very good patient. Dr. Freeman ignored all of their recommendations/prognoses.
