Mark Deibert, MD founded Alpine Orthopedics in Bozeman in 1997, bringing to southwest Montana advanced arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction and knee ligament reconstructive techniques, including the use of soft tissue grafts for ACL surgery. Dr. Deibert trained with world-renowned orthopedic surgeons during his residency in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation at the University of Vermont and his advanced fellowship in surgical reconstruction and rehabilitation at Duke University. He has served as a team physician for the United States Ski Team since 1998, and has worked with both the men's and women's teams, accompanying them to events in Norway, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Finland, and France. Dr. Deibert specializes in arthroscopic ligament reconstruction, joint replacement, fracture care, and cartilage repair of knee, shoulder, and ankle. He works closely with physical therapists and trainers to help people with injuries and joint pain return to the activities they love. Dr. Deibert has volunteered for the non-profit aid agency Operation Arthroscopy, traveling to Cuba and providing essential training in advanced arthroscopic reconstructive techniques of the knee, shoulder, and ankle to Cuban orthopedic physicians. He's an avid skier, snowboarder, and mountain biker, and enjoys the mountains of southwest Montana with his wife, two children, and yellow Lab.
