Dr Chittum is a gifted/talented surgeon. He performed surgery for a Macular Pucker and also got rid of my galaxy of floaters. I have had floaters 12 - 15 years and a cloudy eye for over 10 years. All the physicians I have talked to said there's nothing that can be done. Dr. Chittum is a super hero to me -- I can see clearly now !!! No Haze Or Dullness. All was done with no pain at all. Thank You, Thank You,Thank You !

Dr. Chittum has cared for my eyes in excess of ten years. Without his expertise, I may have been blind by this time. He is the best of the best.
in Colorado Springs, CO |
Mr. Chitum doesn't like questions, I tried to explain my extreme intolerance to pain, which seemed to fall on deaf ears until I had to insist, having had these procedures before. After that, I had a huge floater, so big, I thought I had gone blind. I called after hours. He came in and yelled, NEVER call after hours!! Unless you are on your knees vomiting/blind! I had to get an injection, he said it shouldn't hurt, and stuck the needle in my eye. And reacted badly when I made a sound.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
