Albuquerque, NM |
NOT a good doctor. Told him about my very painful back and neck with pain radiating down arms and legs. His diagnosis was Carpal Tunnel Syndrome when I actually have life threatening severe spinal stenosis. He is VERY RUDE as well. This was the most awful experience with a doctor I've ever had.

I took my mom to see this doctor. He was dismissive of her. He was rude. He was sarcastic and actually laughed at her inability to see his cursor on the computer as he was reviewing her MRI. He was impatient and didn't want to hear her health history but wound up asking her about it anyway. There is no way I will ever take her to see him again.

My husband is seeing Dr. Berger. While he may be educated in neurology....I do not like how he treated my husband or myself. He is rude, impatient and condescending. We will continue to see him as all the testing has been done through him, but hopefully it will not be much longer. I would not recommend him to family and friends.

Dr Mark Berger treated me on two different occasions for two totally different maladies. I was totally impressed with him both times. He was thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and I felt good doctor/ patient manners and I felt I was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone requiring the need for a neurologist.
Albuquerque, NM |
I think Dr. Berger is a good neurologist, but he is getting old, getting tired, and his manner of relating to patients is poor. He is rude and abrupt. He sees his patient as the disease rather than the person. I would not refer anyone to him because of his offputting personality.
in Ruidoso, NM |
Dr. Berger was patient and answered questions.. He took the time to review all testing and explain the results in detail. Thanks!

Dr. Berger seems unusually defensive and uninterested in listening to anything the patient has to say. He is curt to the point of rudeness.
