Dr Herring did an outstanding job of explaining my injury, describing surgical alternatives, and setting realistic expectations for recovery. My injury was described as “massive” complete tears of multiple tendons in shoulder/rotator cuff due to an injury. I could not raise my arm above waist level. It is now 14 weeks post surgery and I can already raise my arm above my head. Dedicated rehab and a great physical therapy team have been a big part of the progress, But Dr Herring did a wonderful job with what had to be a challenging surgical repair. Again, his expectation setting for the entire process helped me and my wife prepare for the also challenging recovery. So far a great success. Thank you.

I recently had reversed total shoulder replacement surgery by Dr. Herring. Pain prior to surgery, once awoke from surgery NO PAIN. His therapy protocol given to P.T. is making for a steady recovery for my range of motion. Life without pain is good. All office follow-up visits have been short, thorough and informative. Dr. Herring and his staff all gone above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Dr. Herring.
