I was one of the Dr. Sablan‘s first patients. I begin seeing him in November 2010. If it wasn’t for him or doing what was just going to be a revision in December 2010 Of any replacement performed in February 2006. During this surgery he discovered the knee was badly infected and had to be removed for a total of nine months. Bottom line if it wasn’t for Dr. Sablan‘s expertise I would’ve died. The new knee was replaced in September 2011. Since I have had such a great outcome with him I have referred several others. I highly recommend Dr. Sablan his compassion professionalism and knowledge is more than I could ever ask for. His staff is amazing... his MA Kelly is amazing along with Mari his receptionist to Ashley to complete your visit when you’re there. This team is one of the best that Merced has been…

He is absolutely the BEST doctor I have ever been to. He explains everything that is going on and tells you what your options are. He did my hip replacement and then had to do more surgery after I fell and ripped the muscle. I just can't say enough about him.

Probably the best doctor I have ever received treatment from. I came close to needing a full shoulder replacement, resulting from a fall. Dr. Sablan put my shattered shoulder back together. I had a very long recovery time, but Dr. Sablan was there for me the entire time. He is kind and very compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sablan for many years. I have been satisfied with his care and office staff completely. Recently he relocated to a new building and got new phone numbers. The number you call, if you are an existing patient appeasrs to be an answering service not in the area. I could not understand the lady who answered and there was a lot of static on the liine. She tried to collect a lot of information from me and she had difficulty understanding me. After asking me for a quite a bit of personal information, I asked her why she needed all of that. She replied it was to update my information. I was in the office last week and my information was already updated. She then said she would transfer me to the phone number I had just called. After being on hold for over 10 minutes I hung up. The office manager needs to work on their phone numbers and service.

I have received treatment from Dr. Sablan for about 4-5 years, beginning with a Worker Comp issue. Dr. Sablan was able to recommend treatment that was effective and included several interventions.. He was most understanding of the emotional as well as physical demands, and I felt heard and respected as a person and patient. He was most professional, and had an unhurried manner. I would highly recommend him to any others seeking a good outcome to their orthopedic medical situation.

I’ve had many surgeries and he was the only one who called me on a weekend to check how I was doing. I recommend him without reservation.

Had mutiple problems after a series of botched surgeries out of town. He took on my case and was finally able to allow me to walk without pain. I will be forever grateful.
