Dr. Chan is thorough and knowledgeable, but he has very little empathy which may have been the cause of many of the poor reviews. I have not seen him enough to be totally confident of his abilities as a doctor, but the first visits are promising.

Due to mismanagement of my diabetic program Dr. Chan cause me to go blind in my left eye. I also saw him for a issue I was having with Low T and he prescribed me Androderm Patch, I used the 1st order at 1 a day and then reordered and only started taking them when I had a test which came back with no improvement. So Chan told me to take 2 per day and made a new prescription to Caremark for double the amount. I found out this was a overdose by CVS only after taking most of stock.

I had the unfortunate displeasure of seeing him. When I described my symptoms, he assured me nothing was wrong with my thyroid despite telling him of a history of thyroid cancer. As you can imagine, I went elsewhere and discovered I had Hashimoto's and also Papillary thyroid cancer. Go elsewhere!!!

At first I was hesitant to come to him because of all other bad reviews. After couple of visits, I found out he is a good doctor. He is an endocrinologist but takes into consideration the patients' overall health, not just thyroid or diabetes concerns. He doesn't talk a lot, but he gets the job done. One of best traits about him, he takes into consideration patients request and concerns about medical treatment. Unlike other doctors who just wanted you to blindly follow whatever they recommend.
in Chicago, IL |
Very unprofessional. I'm not his patient. But I needed to call an after office # because they forgot to call in pharmacy for my med. Dr. Chan answered. I explained but he told me the medicine is not right because I'm pregnant. But he told me to take it right away, and call my doctor to make sure the next day. I didn't want to take different med so my husband asked him again. Dr replied and treated him as if my husband were a dog. Dr finally called my pharmacy and didn't leave his name or phone#.

I wish there was a minus star that I can award this phony operation. Do you even care about your patients? My whole visit was 5 minutes, after 1 hour wait, followed by one way random utters and total lack of interest in listening. What a wasted of time and money. I have never felt that frustrated and angry about a doctor visit in my life. These doctors are the most arrogant dismissive narcissist robots I have seen in my life. Waited 3 months before seeing a doctor. Was extremely prepared
