My husband had a valve repaired in December. Dr. Castillo-Sang is a very professional and caring doctor. He takes his time explaining everything. We can’t thank him and his team enough. I would highly recommend him. We were impressed with the hospital and all doctors and nurses.

Dr. Castillo-sang performed an aortic valve replacement on me two years ago. It went flawlessly and I was discharged from the hospital two days after surgery. He performed it using a three inch incision (unlike the Mayo Clinics recommendation of a full top to bottom incision). My recovery was quick and uneventful and I resumed a full active lifestyle in a few short weeks. People are amazed when I tell them the whole thing was no big deal! That's the highest compliment I can give to him.

My wife spent her entire life in nursing and her father was a doctor. She researched Dr. Castillo-Sang prior to me having an aortic heart valve replacement. He is outstanding in every way. I went in on Tuesday morning and left Friday afternoon with a new heart valve and feeling great . No one would ever believe open heart surgery could be so easy.
