As a gynecologist I believe in letting patients feel comfortable with their care and help them with decisions, including non-medicine decisions. I also want patients not to be lulled into the wrong decision. I like to give second opinions and give women the chance to use lifestyle modification to help them with their health.
I grew up in rural Indiana, taking care of animals that were sick. After finishing nursing school. I went to work in Intensive care in Ft. Wayne, then got my bachelors degree at IPFW. My experiences led me to medical school. I practiced general obstetrics and gynecology and owe my surgical skills to all the mentors from residency I had, with excellent training in pelvic floor and laparoscopic surgery.
