Dr. Rivera was compassionate and perceptive. She interviewed and examined me without reading all the prior reports so that her opinions and conclusions would not be unduly influenced by them. She questioned the radiologic findings, commenting that the reporting expressed some doubts. She chose to review them with the radiologist before reaching her decisions. She returned and suggested a treatment protocol that gave us new hope. Her expertise saved me from more surgery, chemo and radiation,
