Too busy to care about patients or even bother to call when they are very sick. Was not seen or contacted after a pulmonary embolism when the hospital told me she was there rounding. Later after 6 ER trips because of extreme dizziness, brachycardia and trouble walking I arrived 10-15 lates for appointments and always refused to be seen even with no one else waiting. I was marked a ‘no show’ via a letter I got by mail from an office manage who barely speaks English well and dismissed from the practice along with Dr. Gioas signature. I even let the desk staff know what shape I was in and if she could call. Got completely ignored until the very impersonal patient termination letter. I was misled into thinking she was empathetic and willing to work with patients who are struggling, but that’s no longer the case. Save your time and energy and stay far away from this place.

Very thorough and personable. It is a pleasure to have Dr. Gioia as my family physician. Both for my kids and me she listens well and shares her knowledge clearly and thoroughly. She also follows up quickly on referrals and looks at health issues holistically. She does not push medications like other doctors do.

You would be hard- pressed to find a doctor better than Dr. Gioia. She is extremely knowledgeable in multiple fields, listens to her patients, and involves them in their own health process. She personally has called me past 7 pm on her own time to follow up with tests that were heavy on my heart and mind. When I had two doctors that wouldn't even talk to each other when 30 weeks pregnant, Dr. Gioia took the reigns. They don't make many doctors like her.If you want a top doctor she is your choice.

Absolutely fantastic in every way (including all the staff members). Attentive, empathetic, dedicated to holistic treatment, and a great diagnostician. I have a chronic illness, and therefore see multiple doctors regularly, so I know I great doc when I meet one. Dr. Balestrino and her entire staff treated me like a person and not just a patient. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I had an acute situation, and I was able to schedule an appointment the same day. All of my paperwork had been done at my last in network doctors' appointment, so even though it was the first time seeing Dr. Balestrino at this office, I had no paperwork to complete! It was a short wait in the waiting room and the exam room. Dr. Balestrino listened patiently to me, thoroughly explained my situation, and my options. She made sure I understood everything. I highly recommend Dr. Balestrino.
