Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Brown I encourage people to bring their questions, bring whatever information that they have found, so we can go over it together. And then try to fill it in with what we know from evidence-based medicine and accepted practices so that they have a database and an informational background that they can make choices that are right for them. I didn't really realize it ‘til I came here, about how much more comfortable as a practitioner you feel when you have such a fabulous team and you're backed up by such a good institution. Being close to many of the researchers at Rush that are doing innovative things we can get our patients into studies. Sometimes when there's no acceptable treatment for what they have, it's easy to access research studies that may help them and get them enrolled. And we benefit from all the innovations that go on at the medical center. We're helping people to either be healed or to be comforted and to be helped so their quality of life is better and they're able to attain the goals that they wish to attain. So that's a good feeling at the end of the day.
