Very Impressed
Dr. Vloka is very thorough, no nonsense, very direct woman. She surrounds herself with an excellent team that works very efficiently together. The whole experience was incredible, I'm happy the pacemaker procedure is behind me and I look foward to a successful recovery.

Great Doctor!
Dr. Vloka is easy to talk to and explained my problem so I could understand what is causing my heart problem. She ordered tests to see if there is any damage and made a return visit to discuss the test results. She has treated my husband for a fib and he has not had any recurrence! I appreciate having such a skilled doctor in our community!

Thank you Dr. Vloka!!!
Seven years ago today you embedded a defibrillator that has prolonged my life after experiencing v-fib in the Boise airport. Your prognosis and procedure has enabled me to live a normal life since experiencing what in most cases would have been a life ending incident. Wow, without you and my other angels, you would not be hearing from me today. This note of love and appreciation comes with my hope and best wishes that you and your family are well. Thank you Dr. Vloka (Margot) for being one of my heroes and angels. [P.S. In case you forgot who I am, your former classmate, Tony Magnano is my cardiologist.] With much appreciation, Don Wolfson Atlantic Beach, FL

It was wonderful! I identified with her immediately and she gave me good advise about being overweight also. I followed her advise and I lost 6 pounds in less than 1 week, and feel she was really interested in me as a patient and has given me excellent advise. Dr. Vloka installed my pace maker 2 1/2 years ago, but I met her for the first time last week. Thank you so much!

My husband and I both have been seen by her. Both of our first visits lasted over 2 hours. She is very comprehensive in explaining things. However she speaks rapidly and uses examples of test etc that are very technical and not easy to understand.

I strongly endorse Dr. Vloka. I was born with WPW and have experienced palpitations all of my life. For many years they were infrequent and tolerable. In my 50's they increased in both frequency and duration so I decided to have an ablation. In 2018 I had one at another hospital and it was not successful. In 2020 I met Dr. Vloka and she explained that her ablation tool was more flexible and able to negotiate bends in veins, so she expected better results. On 4/9/20 she performed an ablation at St. Als. It was successful. Now a full year has passed without any palpitations. That is a phenomenal result given how frequent they had been, and frankly it has been life changing in a very positive way.

I love Dr Vloka, she took such wonderful care of me in the hospital after I suffered cardiac arrest. I needed an ICD implant and Medicare would not pay for it. She argued with them for 3 days and on the 4th day they gave in. I loved that she spent the time & effort to fight for me. She’s the best!

Dr. Vloka is thorough and thoughtful in her explanation of Heart conditions and cardio physiology. She explains things in a easy-to-understand manner. She also sits and listens and responds to your questions without rushing out of the exam room like many physicians do. She is also an excellent technician regarding the use of technology to perform ablations to a very specific area of the heart. I am proof: no Afib three years post ablation procedure.

Dr Vloka is a caring and dedicated doctor although her caring leads to a rather full schedule. She is very open and forthright in her discussions. Because of her crowded schedule she isn't quite as available after one has a procedure but that is understandable. I had an A-fib ablation a little over a year ago and have had no problems since then other than getting through recovery. She doesn't consider an ablation successful until after 6 months so I waited to write anything and suddenly it is over a year later. I work out and enjoy all activities which were enjoyed previously! There are no guarantees in this life and ablations have risks but I have been able to enjoy life A-fib free for over a year so THANK YOU Dr Vloka!!!

I found Dr Vloka to be extremely knowledgeable, but not at all caring nor communicative. I learned 3 months after my procedure from her nurse at my follow-up visit (only when I asked and the nurse consulted my chart) that my procedure was not entirely successful, but she assured me that should I continue to have symptoms there were medications and other procedures available. I had no idea! I was so shocked, I didn't even know what questions to ask. And scheduling an appointment with the doctor was a nightmare. Another of her nurses afterwards was just plain rude when I needed some answers. I have not gone back, nor would I recommend her to anyone I care about.
