I strongly endorse Dr. Vloka. I was born with WPW and have experienced palpitations all of my life. For many years they were infrequent and tolerable. In my 50's they increased in both frequency and duration so I decided to have an ablation. In 2018 I had one at another hospital and it was not successful. In 2020 I met Dr. Vloka and she explained that her ablation tool was more flexible and able to negotiate bends in veins, so she expected better results. On 4/9/20 she performed an ablation at St. Als. It was successful. Now a full year has passed without any palpitations. That is a phenomenal result given how frequent they had been, and frankly it has been life changing in a very positive way.

Dr. Vloka is thorough and thoughtful in her explanation of Heart conditions and cardio physiology. She explains things in a easy-to-understand manner. She also sits and listens and responds to your questions without rushing out of the exam room like many physicians do. She is also an excellent technician regarding the use of technology to perform ablations to a very specific area of the heart. I am proof: no Afib three years post ablation procedure.

Dr Vloka is a caring and dedicated doctor although her caring leads to a rather full schedule. She is very open and forthright in her discussions. Because of her crowded schedule she isn't quite as available after one has a procedure but that is understandable. I had an A-fib ablation a little over a year ago and have had no problems since then other than getting through recovery. She doesn't consider an ablation successful until after 6 months so I waited to write anything and suddenly it is over a year later. I work out and enjoy all activities which were enjoyed previously! There are no guarantees in this life and ablations have risks but I have been able to enjoy life A-fib free for over a year so THANK YOU Dr Vloka!!!

I found Dr Vloka to be extremely knowledgeable, but not at all caring nor communicative. I learned 3 months after my procedure from her nurse at my follow-up visit (only when I asked and the nurse consulted my chart) that my procedure was not entirely successful, but she assured me that should I continue to have symptoms there were medications and other procedures available. I had no idea! I was so shocked, I didn't even know what questions to ask. And scheduling an appointment with the doctor was a nightmare. Another of her nurses afterwards was just plain rude when I needed some answers. I have not gone back, nor would I recommend her to anyone I care about.

I would absolutely NOT recommend Dr. Vloka to anyone. The office is the most poorly run medical office I have ever been in. They do NOT return calls. There is a 2-3 month wait to even see the NP. Prior to surgery we were told to come in in 4 weeks for a post-surgery wound check, but when trying to schedule this, were told there were no openings for 2 months. The information we do get from the NP & nurse is confusing and at times has conflicted with other info we were given.

I saw Dr. Vloka 9 years ago for SVT. I was in my first year of college and I was terrified. Dr. Vloka came highly recommended and in my initial consultation Dr. Vloka was very thorough, explaining SVT and the options available to me with care. She performed my catheter ablation one month later and I haven't had an episode since! I am very thankful to Dr. Vloka and the excellent care that she provided.

I like Dr. Vloka a lot, she does not bs you and goes right to the point where everything goes downhill is with her nurse. She is rude and doesn't seem to care what is going on with the people in their care. I know they are over worked, but there is not excuse to be rude when people are scared and don't know what is going on with their heart. I am switching to St. Luke's for better care!!

The office took care of everything from scheduling all my necessary appointments including with my internist & prescribing everything I needed including aspirin after the procedure. The Dr is excellent at explaining the possible conditions & treatment beforehand & post procedure instructions. She is v conscientious & clearly is expert. I loved her!

I was first told I could drop dead at any moment! Then after weeks of extensive testing, I was basically dismissed for six months and told to do nothing and watch my condition (which I wasn't told a diagnosis for.) I tried several times for six months to get an appointment, calling several different times, and the scheduler never called me back. I therefore switched to St. Luke's Cardiology where they treat me like I'm important and are doing an ablation to fix my ventricular tachycardia.
