My interest in becoming a family doctor stemmed from growing up in a small town that had a female general practitioner. Connecting and forming relationships with people have been my favorite parts of being a family doctor. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages from diverse types of families and cultural backgrounds. On a personal level I love living in the country hiking and tending a large garden. I also enjoy cooking swimming contra dancing and singing three-part harmonies with my husband and daughter.
