Patient Comments (4)

Dr. Ferry is a terrible physician. Wait time is 45 minutes to an hour, even when there are no other patients. For most of the consult she sits looking at her laptop, trying to figure out how it works. She does not do physicals. She does not look at test results. (Dr. Ferry diagnosed me with "wonky"...more

She wanted to put me on metformin with my glucose being 103 which I did not fast when I did my labs. Kept pushing medication with out having rechecked my levels fasting.

My recommendations are considered "options " and may be encouraged. Patients have choice and should discuss this with their doctor if they are not comfortable with the recommendations. I always order labs needed as baseline assessment with proper fasting and Metformin is beneficial not only for blood glucose but for metabolic syndrome(HTN, obesity, abnormal lipids, "or" high sugar) indicating glucose intolerance.

A truely unusual doctor. She really delves into your problem from all sides giving you time and a custom approach. Very human and no superior attitude.

Endocrine disorders are all encompassing and require patience to make the right diagnosis and decisions about managing them.

I would highly recommend Dr. Ferry. She takes her time with her patients. Call ahead, she has a tendency of running behind. The staff are very friendly and courteous.
