I then accepted a commission as a U.S. Navy officer and attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland. I completed family medicine residency training at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, California, in 2003. Prior to joining NCFP, I practiced as a staff family physician at U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan, and Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, Washington. I am board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I have a wide variety of medical interests and enjoy the opportunity to provide care to the entire family. Interests outside of medicine include spending time with my wife and two children, enjoying outdoor activities, cooking, and travel."
