Dr. Sims took care of me at the hospital while I was having a major heart attack. He and his team quickly went to work to save my life. Since that time I have seen Dr. Sims at his office for follow up visits and he makes sure to take time to explain things to my wife and I, his bedside manner is awesome and I feel he is always honest with me about my health. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a heart doctor. He is a fine doctor and a great person.

Dr. Marcus Sims is one of the best doctors my mother has experienced! After suffering from an infarct, she found great care with Dr. Sims. She wishes that more doctors could be like Dr. Sims. Would highly recommend. Great job.

Dr. Sims has cared for my husband his heart attack three years ago. The care then and now is excellent. If I or anyone I know needs a cardiologist, I would recommend Dr. Sims. He is an excellent diagnostician and surgeon. He never seems rushed and listens to both of us as we talk and ask questions. He addresses our concerns with clear answers. He seems genuinely interested in who we are as people beyond just being a medical case. His staff is great. Dr. Sims truly treats the whole person

I went to the hospital 3 years ago with what I thought were asthma issues. Turned out to be Mitral Valve Prolapse which needed open heart surgery to correct. Through the whole ordeal Doctor Sims has been a steady hand guiding me back to health.

Dr. Sims is the consummate professional. We met him at the Cath Lab at Eastside. He was highly recommended to us by our favorite internist. He is very approachable. He explains complex conditions and treatment options in a clear, straightforward way. He never acts as if he is "too busy' to spend quality time with his patients. He shows his patients and their families respect; he is NEVER condescending! When expertise and an excellent bedside manner is important, he is the BEST choice

Worst phone response that I have ever encountered from a medical provider. I've called numerous times for a variety of reasons - to change appointment, talk to nurse, get general information. ALWAYS routed to an answering machine and NEVER get a callback within a reasonable time frame. Terrible Customer service - Beyond POOR! These people act as if no one has a life but them. If I ran my business this way, I would be out of business in 6 months. (celebrating 40 years in December) Good Luck !

I went to Dr.Sims shortly after moving to Grayson. I was being treated for non-lifethreatening afib. As the afib episodes became more frequent I became more fearful and my quality of life diminished. Dr.Sims seeing my distess refered me to an electrophyiologist to repair my heart. I was so grateful that he was willing to let another doctor take over to improve my quality of life. Dr.Sims is one of the finest doctors I know. Caring, intelligent, funny and kind I am so blessed by being his patient

On Nov. 29,2016, my wife suffered a heart attack at home in Stone Mountain and was transported to Eastside Medical in Snellville. Upon arrival she was immediately set up for catheterization. That's when Dr. Marcus Sims came into the picture. Two stents later she was on the road to recovery. Dr. Sims not only did a wonderful job but explained everything in terms laymen could understand. He gave assurance and encouragement. Bedside manner is unbelievably good. He is a great listener. He is our Dr.

Dr. Sims is by far a different kind of doctor in todays world. He did a heart catherization on my mom and placed a stint for a 95% blockage. He spoke to my sister and I afterwards and made us feel completely comfortable. Upon seeing him in the Monroe Office with my mom a week later he listened to my moms concerns and when the visit was over hugged both our necks this is something you do not see in the medical field very much any more. I loved hearing his story of how he got in the medical field.
