About Me

Care Philosophy

I take care of patients with 'arrhythmias' (slow or fast heart beats), syncope, and patients with pacemakers/ICD's/cardiac resynchronization therapy, patients that need catheter ablations for SVT/atrial tachycardia/flutter/fibrillation or WPW.

What People Say About Dr. Marco Mercader, MD
Dr. Mercader was very responsive to my emergency situation, in which I needed an ICD. And over the last 6 years he has more than met my needs as my physician. He answers my questions and provides reassurance when I need it. Recently, he went well above the call of duty when I needed a procedure in gynecology that involved electrocautery. He came to my aid within a few minutes, and stayed with me throughout the procedure. He was calm and reassuring. He is a cardiologist with a real heart!
