Dr. Richard's Care Philosophy
Im an orthopaedic surgeon that specializes in elbow wrist and hand injuries. I treat fractures sports injuries and acute traumas as well as more common ailments like tendonitis carpal tunnel arthritis and trigger fingers. The best thing about going to work every day is that regardless of the number of patients I have at a time I have the opportunity to make a difference in each patients life. Duke offers cutting edge technology and research but we also excel in patient care. That combination makes Duke a special place for our patients. Outside of work I like to spend time with my wife and two children. We enjoy following the Boston Red Sox and local baseball teams. For exercise I like to run swim and play tennis.
