I have had shoulder repair surgery done by Marc Milia. He is a caring, attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and skilled surgeon that has been able to repair my shoulder problem. I cannot be more pleased with a surgeon. He is genuinely interested in my well being and does not rush his patients, happy to answer any questions. Should I have any other issues, he will be my choice for an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Milia is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. He is kind and caring and listens to your concerns. He advised me of the various options available and strives for the least invasive when possible. Colby, Kelly, Susie, Tiffany, Carol, and the rest of staff in the Southfield office location are fantastic. I feel like family whenever I visit. I had a reverse shoulder replacement and the recovery has been almost pain-free these first two weeks. I give credit to Dr. Milia's skill and expertise for this. The GetWell Loop app is for checking in with Dr. Milia every day following surgery. You are not left on your own during recovery; It is very comforting knowing your doctor is genuinely concerned about you. Should any issues arise, Dr. Milia and his PA, Colby, are quick to respond. I definitely recommend Dr. Milia for your shoulder care.

Dr. Milia is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. My previous surgeon of 30 years was pushing me to get a total knee replacement after 11 left knee scopes and 2 ACL reconstructions. Dr. Milia did stem cell and PRP instead, and my knee feels better than ever. It has been life changing. Two weeks ago he fixed my torn bicep and I know it will be back to normal after it heals. I wish I had heard of him 20 years ago, I could have saved myself from a lot of pain and surgeries. He gets 10 stars from me.

Doctor Milia was very positive and honest from the start. He said it would hurt which it did but he said I should make a full recovery. I am well on my way to that and so grateful for his encouragement. I also like the daily emails on my progress. It keeps me on track and makes me feel like part of the team.
