My father suffered terribly from spinal stenosis and Menkowitz was our third opinion. I am sure glad he was. He took the time to fully go over my father's MRI and explain everything he wanted to do and why. He did not scare my father, but rather offered reassurance that this would fix his problems. He is now only three weeks out and feels like a different person. I am so thankful we found Dr. Menkowitz.

I had 3 back surgeries with Dr. Menkowitz. I could not have had a better experience from the office visits to the procedures to follow ups. He’s very thorough, knowledgeable and nice. He doesn’t rush you out and takes his time to explain the diagnosis. His staff is also great which made the appointments less stressful. Anyone who has back problems, i always recommend him.

Grateful that I was referred to Dr. Menkowitz. He and his staff were wonderful. There are a lot of other doctors in my network but they run their practices like a factory. Here I felt like my issues were a priority and they really made you feel welcomed and not bothersome which is so important when you are in pain!

Dr. M did my lumbar fusion almost 3 years ago now and I couldn't be happier with my results. Never did I think I would be doing any activities I do now and no one would have ever guessed I have a fusion. I highly recommend Dr. Menkowitz if you need spine surgery!

I underwent a lumbar fusion this past year with Dr. Menkowitz and am extremely happy with my surgical outcome. Dr. Menkowitz took the time to explain my diagnosis, my MRI findings, and my surgery in detail. Not only did I feel comfortable moving forward with surgery, but I was excited to get my life back under the care of Dr. M! I would highly recommend this office and surgeon to any family member or friend.

I had a complicated spinal problem (and excruciating pain) and unsuccessfully visited two other doctors before my appointment with Dr. Menkowitz. He was extremely caring and went out of his way to properly diagnose me. I am now on my way to recovery. I can't recommend him enough!

after an mri Dr M recommended surgery on my neck to stop my hand tremors. He stated I had severe stenosis. I went to a neurologist and was told I had minor stenosis and was diagnosed with Parkinson which causes the tremors!!! If I listened to Mark I would have had surgery for nothing!

If you are reading this review please read to the end. I recently fell and broke my femur. I had to have emergency surgery and could not choose my doctor. I later learned the doctor who put a rod from my hip to my knee, is a spine specialist. However, I also learned how lucky I was since I am 77, on blood thinners, and have been on steroids for 10 years. My surgery went well. Healing went well. My recovery in general is going well and to my surprise Dr. Menkowitz is a real human being. He spent as much time with me as I needed. So I would recommend him as a general surgeon on a scale of 1-10. I give him a 10. Office...staff is cooperative, pleasant and extremely efficient. Wait time 10-15 minutes. A very difficult situation was made pleasant in all respects.

Dr. M is a wonderful, caring doctor. He takes his time to answer all of my many, many questions. I was really worried about having back surgery but so glad that I had Dr. M for it. I've had several issues with my L5-S1 for a long time and I can't believe how great I feel now, doing this surgery with Dr. M was the best decision I've ever made in my life.

While Doctor Mankowitz is a very nice man and doctor, his billing staff is horrible. I was contacted 2.5 year later for outstanding balances. I have no issues paying money to where it's due, but to wait 2.5 years to contact a patient is unacceptable. Their excuse was they sent it to my address, but I moved. All of my other mail and bills were forwarded, so I guess the mailman misplaced it every single time. I finally got a phone call last month. Why wasn't I called for 2 years? Unreal
