This content was provided by Dr. Goldberg "After graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University, Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Goldberg then finished an ophthalmology residency at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and subsequently completed a prestigious two-year cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. At Washington University he was involved in research that led to the Food and Drug Administration's approval of the excimer laser for use in the United States. After fellowship training and prior to moving to Tulsa, Dr. Goldberg served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he directed the Infirmary's cornea and refractive surgery lecture series garnering the Infirmary's Resident Teaching Award in that role. Dr. Goldberg holds appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University Of Oklahoma School Of Medicine –Tulsa, and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the OSU School of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He serves also as Volunteer Clinical Preceptor at the Northeastern State University School of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. He has served previously as Medical Director, and currently as Assistant Medical Director with the Oklahoma Lions' Eye Bank. In addition Dr. Goldberg has served on the Medical Advisory Board and Accreditation Committee of the Eye Bank Association of America, the primary national organization responsible for oversight of tissue banks supplying corneas for transplantation nationwide. Through his training, clinical work, and teaching, Dr. Goldberg has gained extensive experience in corneal transplantation, advanced cataract surgery, and refractive surgery techniques. He has received recognition as one of only a handful of Oklahoma ophthalmologists to be listed as an Oklahoma "Top Doctor" (Castle Connolly – America's Top Doctors). Dr. Goldberg has lectured nationally and published numerous peer-reviewed ophthalmology journal articles. He has coauthored corneal and refractive surgery textbook chapters. He has committed his practice to the caring and ethical treatment of patients with ophthalmic, medical, and surgical needs."

I have had about 20/700 vision since second grade and am 73 now. Today is the second day after my second cataract surgery. I can read a book and am legal to drive without glasses. This is miraculous! I cannot find the words to thank Dr Goldberg enough.

Dr. Goldberg is amazing, and in my personal view, he's the best! I was in a bad wreck and had a tree cut my eye in half, after many surgeries to put my eye back together, I was only able to see between, a guesstimated 20/400 and 20/1000. I couldn't even see the largest letter on the vision test, so...more

Dr Goldberg is very professional, compassionate and caring. He has given me the most excellent care I have ever received for eye care. I truly believe he saved my eyesight. I am 100 percent recommending him to everyone I know. He is so knowledgeable it is amazing.

I've tried to see Dr. Goldberg for 4+ years - he doesn't see patients. He is associated with this clinic, but I have never seen or heard that he was in. His PA Kris Wyatt is dangerous! She's very casual, indifferent about patients. I'm diabetic, glacoma has worsened in past year. She just tells...more
