Terrible bedside manner, could care less if you are there. Seemed utterly bored while I was (still am) in a lot of pain. After finally diagnosing me (and was surprised I actually had a problem, indicating he thought I was lying the whole time), he sent me for some nerve blocks, but never bothered scheduling a follow up appointment. So now I have no clue what to do. Exactly opposite results from the supposed best spinal clinic in the greater Memphis area. Highly don't recommend him!

I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Carro to anyone if he was the last doctor on earth! He is insensitive and does not care about the well-being of his patients. He only gives do or die treatment options and nothing in between. Either have a nerve block or surgery, which is fine but what does a patient do until those options are scheduled, just remain in pain? He never gave me anything for pain throughout the entire process and keeps suggesting that I can take tramadol, a medication that I'm allergic to.

I have been a patient of Dr Carro for over 15 years. He has always been kind, considerate and caring. I honestly don’t know how I could have managed work and day to day activities without his help and the treatments he has ordered for me. He always has time for questions and listens.

I waited 7 days before calling for MRI results. I was told doc plans to review the "things" found in an appoint they FYA'd for me in 2 days. I get there & there NO appoint set up. So, I waited over 1hr for them to come out & ask me for my CD & the transcripts? And 1.5 hrs later doc rudly tells me what any blind man with hands & no doctorate could've "You need to lose weight or no surgeon will touch you." Well, What I have you can't operate on anyway it needs chemotherapy...DOC!

I did not get to see the doctor until 1 1/2 hours after my appointment. The doctor had not even reviewed my MRI before he came in. After less than 15 minutes, I was dismissed with no new information or treatment for my condition. I had been referred to this doctor to discuss treatment alternatives and all he suggested was taking NSAIDS. Needless to say I would not recommend this doctor or this clinic to anyone. This visit was just a waste of time and money.

Dr Carro took the time to listen and really cares about me as his patient. My insurance company will no longer cover the medicines I need and Dr. Carro worked very hard to find an alternative to help me deal with my back pain. I highly recommend this doctor if you are looking for a good doctor.

I find the negative reviews very disconcerting, as I have gone to Dr. CArro for many years and have found him such a gentleman and most caring. I write down my questions so he might see all my concerns. He has always answered every question and more. I am a devoted patient to him and his. Staff. They are breaths of fresh air in the world of hurried, uncaring doctors.

I left Dr. Carro feeling absolutely disgusted with the care, or lack there of, I received. He showed absolutely no compassion and seemed completely inconvenienced to answer any of my questions. He provided no treatment plan beyond the fact that I would likely live in pain and needed to visit a pain clinic. His nurse was FURIOUS when we requested a copy of my MRI, as we will definitely be consulting another physician.

The Practice he works for Ive been involved with since I was a child for my issue, as an adult I had to see Dr. Carro as my original physician only dealt with minors. He is very dismissive, hardly listened to me with my aggravated issues. He saw the new MRI and since there was a major progression and I dont need surgery again he didnt need to see me. Had major flare ups and had to take off work and he would only approve the 2 days I saw him not wanting to consider my past history. NOTRECOMMENDE
