He never touched my leg never picked it up and looked at it. Basically in and out of the door. Any questions I asked on my follow up that concerned me I was told it was an artificial joint what did I expect? Just remember the videos you see are the teachers pets. Don't in reality expect you won't need those pain meds, or a toilet riser or help getting around. The videos show a fairy tale.

Dr. Patel is efficient, professional, and an excellent surgeon. Two friends recommended him after extraordinarily successful knee replacements. At the Franklin office his staff is relaxed, easy-going and friendly, which pleasantly contrasts Dr. Patel's high energy, go-go-go approach. I don't need a doctor to hold my hand or pat me on the back. I want and expect positive results and quick recovery. Dr. Patel exceeded my exceptions in every way.

Dr. Patel, did a total knee replacement last week, saw him today and was released. Everyone has been nice, The surgery was not painful I walked and went up a set of stairs after surgery. I have only gotten better each day. I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who wants to recover early.

I saw Dr Patel over the years through the progression of knee pathology. He has always been very helpful and as I prepare for visits he answers my questions. Elevates my concerns and sets the stage for improving the quality of my life. He performed a left TKR using the jiffy knee procedure. Surgery completed and I was able to go home the same day of surgery! I am pleased with my outcomes at this point with seeing progression daily! I too must say that I have seen the benefits on others from his knee surgeries throughout the years as I am a PTA. It’s amazing to see people rediscovering their potential to live a quality life after knee replacement surgery. So my take away is get yourself in your best physical and mental orientation, get an appointment scheduled to gain the knowledge of the jiffy knee and take the steps to get back to life! See you in therapy! Beth Owen, LPTA

I have had both knees replaced by Dr. Patel. 1 in June, and 1 in September. If I had known about him 10 years ago, I would have had him do it then. I flew out here from California, and glad I did. Great Dr. and great team

Only one word required for the question "would you recommend Dr. Patel to family and friends?" Absolutely!! I had my Jiffy Knee replacement 7/30/20 and came home the same day!! Even in the midst of COVID I never shuttered at going through with my surgery. Everyone on his staff was more than willing to answer any question or concern I had. What I will say is I didn't have many because everything was covered thoroughly. With that said I will be having the other knee done early next year. No need to research for a great Orthopedic Doctor because I found one for you!! Recommended by a friend. Vickie Goodman

Dr. Patel is very kind and concerned with providing great care. My Jiffy Knee replacement was a wonder! I was walking without a cane in just a couple of days, and driving in a week. What a great experience. I'd read the reviews of the surgery, but didn't know that an 80-year-old could get those great results.

I originally saw Dr. Patel due to knee problems following surgery by another physician. His recommendations helped me greatly. I began to see him for arthritis in my hands and his care has been excellent. He is quick and efficient to take care of my problems and I have recommended him to friends and family seeking a qualified orthopedic surgeon. I would note that if you are seeing him for the first time, please be aware that he is fast but he is efficient, intelligent, and kind, and he will help you with your problem. (And I am okay with not spending hours sitting in a doctor's office waiting on a doctor. ??)

After my Jiffy Knee Replacement (no tendons and muscles cut), my knee was ready for physical therapy after one day! No walker or cane were used because the healing was fast! The physical therapist was amazed at my progress! If you're nervous about trying Dr. Patel, don't be! He knows what he's doing, his staff is efficient, patient, friendly and always available. In the two days I was in the hospital, I saw a therapist every day and a medical doctor THREE times in two days! The hospital in Franklin is new, staffed with wonderful people who only want to help you, always with a smile!

This was my second encounter with Dr. Patel for surgery. Even though I am referred to him by the Veterans Affair, he still treats me like a regular patient. Great attitude and always professional. His assistant Gary was also very helpful in explaining procedures and assuring positive results. Definitely recommend for any sports or muscular injuries.
