After 7 years of radiating pain down both legs, which I tried every option I could find to relieve the pain, I decided to have surgery. I chose Dr. Bawa for his approach to the problem and his success rate with back surgery. I am 9 weeks after surgery and there is no referred pain down my legs and only minor surgical site pain which I expect to resolve itself. I could not be happier to have my life back thanks to Dr. Bawa.

I was referred to Dr.Bawa by my pain specialist when steroid injections were not working, I was reassured by that specialist Dr.Bawa would not rush into surgery unless it was absolutely necessary. I was 47 and couldn’t walk without a cane. When I met with Dr.Bawa he was calm, confident and reassuring, we agreed I needed surgery. When I woke from anesthesia all my leg pain was gone! Dr. Bawa was always pleasant and informative throughout the whole process with my wife and I. Thank you Dr.Bawa!

He takes interim steps to resolve your issue. His staff is very patient oriented as well and will return your call promptly.

I read everything Dr. Bawa had noted about my case and was surprised to find that he took a look at my overall well-being not just my arm. He is friendly and makes me feel comfortable as well as confident about his care.

I had a microdiscectomy 18 years ago and, at that time, the surgeon told me that I'd likely need a revision and/or fusion in about 15-20 years. In October 2017, my disc herniated again and in all the wrong ways, as predicted. Dr. Bawa was very thorough and efficient in diagnosing the new damage and provided conservative treatment options as well as surgical options. When I decided on surgery, he also set clear expectations on pain and recovery post-op. I'm 8 weeks post-op and doing well.

If I could give Dr. Bawa 10 stars, I would. When I saw Dr.Bawa, I was already 3 months imobile with a pintched nerve and a pain level of 10+. He answered all my back surgery questions and volunteered answers to questions I hadn’t even thought about. From the moment I woke up from surgery, I have been pain free. I can’t praise him enough.

I highly recommend Dr. Bawa to anybody facing the possibility of back surgery. He is an excellent surgeon. He is patient and thorough when explaining options to the patient. He is conservative and approaches each individual by offering and encouraging alternatives to surgery whenever deemed appropriate. Everybody's tolerance for pain is different, but once you've made the decision to have surgery, Dr. Bawa is the doctor you should choose.

After 3 years with hands pains, I was introduced to Dr Bawa. My first visit, after he had several tests done, of course after seen few specialists, he gave a several options and left surgery as very last one. One of his suggestions was to have an epidermis injection with another fantastic Dr. Toliver. I have few injections and after six month I decided that was time end my pains on fingers and hand. Well I had surgery of the Cervical C5 and C6. Massive success. Highly recommend Dr Bawa.

I absolutely love Dr. Bawa. I have been sent to so many doctors with Worker's Comp and have been very pleased with a couple. Dr. Bawa is one that I will trust with my surgery, when I can no longer stand the pain. He is very thorough, he explains everything precisely. He explains every option available. I have been trying to avoid cervical surgery by having epidurals, I think I will eventually have to have it and he explained that I will probably get about 70% relief when I do. He's awesome!

Dr Bawa did a great job on my disc replacement surgery(c4 c5)! I was up 3 hours later already feeling better. of course I was sore in the neck but all the nerve pain was immediately gone. still experiencing some numbness in my thumb and occasional soreness in the neck, I think from sleeping funny. But I highly recommend this surgery for those of you who can have it and need it. I didn't even have to wear the brace much and was cleared for light weight work 4 weeks afterwards!
