I cannot imagine a more qualified surgeon and Dr. Bakhos. Three years ago he performed open heart surgery on me, age 64 at the time and replaced my aortic valve And bypassed a blocked LAD artery. Dr. Bakhos repaired my mitral valve rather than replacing it. My outcome has been excellent and I am able to pursue an active lifestyle which includes bicycling and roller-blading without any maintenance drugs or therapy. He is very caring and empathetic. I recommend him highly.
