Worst doctor ever
I have had a horrible experience with Dr. Tehrani. She says she treats everyone like family, but it’s not true. She has been extremely dismissive to me for about a year now. I sent her my entire history and every time she showed up to appointments, even our very first appointment, without having reviewed my chart. Unless you have a very simple case, I don’t recommend her. She will NOT put in any time or effort to research anything out of the box and will just push you off on other doctors.

Poor Management - Poor Care
I was in pain - a lot of pain. Dr. Tehrani spent a total of 5 minutes with me on my initial visit and asked me to get some tests done then rushed me out the door. I had a follow-up virtual appointment a couple months later. I Joined the call 5 minutes prior to the appointment as I was asked. I then proceeded to wait 45 minutes until Dr. Tehrani was able to join the call. I didn't receive any message from her or her office stating that she would be late. After another five minute visit where we discussed the results we were done. Then five months after the visit (while I'm still in pain), I received a bill from her office for the full amount. They didn't bill my insurance even after they requested updated information (and I provided it) prior to my appointment. Finally, when I tried calling the office after they open (at 8:00), no one answers the phone. The "after-hours" message was playing until I was able to contact them at 8:35. If I could leave a zero-star rating I would.

I can see why people say she rushes - remember, these doctors HAVE TO see a certain number of patients a day. However, I am my own advocate for my disease and had to see a new doctor as mine moved out of state. I have never had a doctor trust me with what I told her, what my ailments are, what has worked over 8+ years and what has not. She is a proponent of nontraditional medicine paired with big pharma. The time I spent with her was thorough and most of all, there was trust. Perhaps she's not a great "diagnosing" doctor, based on these reviews. But she is a great patient advocate too.

Dr. Tehrani rushed my appointment as well and noted that the nurse would repeat what she had told me. I DIDN'T MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE NURSE (although the nurse was very nice). I don't know that I feel comfortable moving to a biologic based on my short rushed appointment and I traveled 45 minutes to be rushed through my appointment. She was good to provide a lot of information of meds/tools that aren't covered by insurance though! RA is frustrating painful disorder and I do not believe Dr. Tehrani is the physician for me. She is nice and seemed knowledgeable but this office is a "processing center"!

I visited Dr. Tehrani after receiving a referral from my GP due to about 5 years of chronic joint pain which had morphed into fatigue, brain fog, and more severe pain. The intake appointment lasted around 15 minutes where she looked at my he family history that I provided, seemed concerned, and then ordered a bunch of blood work. Although it seemed very rushed, I was still hopeful as she seemed nice. My second, in-person follow-up was abysmal. The appointment was very short (maybe 10-15 minutes) and I was dismissed due to having clean bloodwork. Pretty disheartened at moment.

Very disappointing. She spent less than 10 minutes with me including 3 interruptions. Very uncaring and dismissive. She took me off my meds , prescribed new ones that aren’t working. I’m experiencing terrible pain. She was supposed to follow up with my previous doctor. I never heard from her. I would never recommend her. No bedside manner.

She is very attentive, does thorough examinations, and answers all of the questions that we, naturally, have when we come to see a doctor. She is very knowledgeable in her field as well as in other fields of medicine, and very flexible in discussing the ways to treat you.

My last experience with Dr. Tehrani and her staff was on 27 January 2019. During my last clinical visit, in December of 2018, Dr. Tehrani's Phlebotomist sent my blood samples to Quest Diagnostics instead of Lab Corp. Now I have a near $400 bill from Quest that Dr. Tehrani's staff is not willing to discuss with me. A doctor's staff represent the doctor for whom they work. I'm less than impressed with the staff and the doctor.

Dr. Tehrani and her staff are top notch. The office is run well, the staff is very friendly, and Dr. Tehrani is the best rheumatologist I have ever been to. After being mis-diagnosed for years, Dr. Tehrani quickly determined what treatment I needed, implemented it, and stabilized me. I can't tell you what a difference seeing her has made in my life.

Dr. Tehrani is compassionate, attentive, informative and very helpful, in my case at least. If one thing doesn’t work, she tries something else and is willing to change course if it is warranted. That is helping me a lot with my rheumatoid arthritis.

I came to see Dr. Tehrani through the high recommendation of my primary care physician. She is fantastic, right on top of my care, I had severe debilitating psoriatic arthritis which she diagnosed right away. After about 3 months of therapy, I have my old body back, I can go to the gym again. So glad I found her she's a gem.

She diagnosed and treated my rheumatoid arthritis in 2015 but I had to move away for a short period. I realized I had been spoiled by her kindness and genuine bedside manner and was never able to connect so well with the other rheumatology group I saw in a different state. I absolutely hold her in the highest regard and so happy to be fortunate enough to re-establish care with her.

After meeting me for 2 minutes she misdiagnosed me and was recommending I start a chemo/rheumatological drug treatment that was inappropriate for my condition. Ran away as quckly as possible. Note to doctor: Don't rush to medicate patients without taking time to understand the condition especially with high powered chemo drugs like methotrexate and others.
