I was refered to Dr. Momemi by my primary care physician. I find her to be rude, aloof, and uninterested in my condition. I have to re-explain my issue to her every time I have an appointment. I have had 2 telehealth apppointments with her, and BOTH times I had to call the front desk because I never received the meeting link before the time of my appointment. I had to wait for her for 45 minutes online, and I was the first appointment of the day! my primary care physician has given me another referral, and I am planning to schedule a meeting with that doctor.

I was referred here by my primary care physician and could not be happier. Dr. Momeni is my doctor and I have been so pleased with her guidance and help. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 25. I was completely unfamiliar with the disease as none of my relatives have it, and she has been so helpful in understanding the issues that exist as well as the potential ones that I could experience as I get older. I've been prescribed two different medications throughout my treatment over the past year and she helped me find one that is seriously helping my pain. I have arthritis in every joint; hands, feet, knees, shoulders, wrists, elbows, , etc. I am now almost completely pain free, which is something I never thought I would experience again given how much pain I experienced daily in the past. She actually pays attention to my pain . She also really honest and transparent and doesn't sugarcoat things, but at the same time has a really soft and compassionate delivery.

I've been seeing Dr. Momeni for over a year now and I'm finally going to switch to a new doctor. These are the main reasons why: 1. Whenever I see her, she asks how my back is doing, even though my condition affects my neck. This leads me to believe that she does not read the medical notes before coming into the room, which completely nullifies the reason for my visit-- why would I want to see a doctor who has no idea about my condition? I'm starting from square 1 every time I see her. 2. There was one visit where I was left in the room for a full HOUR (no exaggeration-- I counted the minutes) before she showed up. I walked out of the room multiple times to ask where in the world she was, and no one could give me a straight answer. I was on my last thread when she finally showed up, and I was so short on time that I couldn't eat lunch before returning to work that day.

I am seeing Dr. Momeni for the past 3 years. After today's visit, I once again realized how blessed I am to have found her as my rheumatologist. Dr. Momeni is the best. I have never experienced a doctor with so much compassion, and I have seen many doctors in my lifetime. She is extremely knowledgeable. She is focused on one during the visit. Dr. Momeni answers all questions, explaines everything in detail and makes the patient part of decisions. One never feels rushed. She is prompt with answering emails and gives detailed replies. I feel her office is a safe place where I am understood, accepted and cared for with much kindness. The office staff is wonderful too. It is a friendly environment with extremely efficient people. I highly recommend Dr. Momeni and her staff.

Its very upsetting experience. Waited more than a month to get the appointment date and waited more than an hour at her office. Took off from work and drove 1hr. Before going to her, I completed my Annual Exam, and shared all the medical reports relating to my arthritis. But she didn't had a look. She is not looking at the reports, she is asking me about the reports when i questioned. That is really bad. If she cant spare time for patients, she has to postpone the appointment dates. We pay lot of money and time to see specialist.

I've been coming to see Dr. Momeni for a while now (it'll be 4 years this May). Now, it's 15 miles commute but I'm willing to make the trek to see a wonderful, compassionate, considerate and knowledgeable doctor. It's a big deal for me to really like my rheumatologist because my chronic condition requires me to see a specialist on a regular basis. Also, I like consistency, especially coming from another state where I saw my previous rheumatologist for almost 18 years! When I first saw Dr. Momeni, I had just moved to the VA and I had not seen a rheumatologist for 4 months! Her office was able to accommodate me within 2 days. I appreciate professionalism, patience and genuine concern for my health. In addition, their offices are clean, tidy and tasteful. The staff are also helpful and professional. I really appreciate the treatment I receive from the Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinical Center of NOVA.

She is caring and helped me finally discover I have Lupus. Over the last 6 mo., I've gotten everything under control with her support. DO NOT RECCOMEND. I always waited 20-30 minutes for my appointment. They were always late. I've had four or five appointments with Dr. Momeni and only the last two were okay because I pushed my questions and concerns. Otherwise she was in and out within 10 minutes and runs through questions. Not very helpful. Basically just asks about your medication and refills it for same dosage, even if you talk about still being in pain. Currently changing doctors. Not helpful in my opinion.

One of the worst doctor's I have ever seen. Went to see her for a finger that was hurting just to make sure that it wasn't autoimmune related. She barely looked at my test results, asked for no additional tests to be performed, spent about 5 minutes with me, and prescribed Otezla in case it was psoriatic arthritis despite the fact that I do not have psoriasis, nor did I have any of the typical symptoms of PSA such as swelling, etc. I ended up taking Otezla for a few weeks leading to all kinds o
