Dr. Younes received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut (AUB). Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Younes pursued cancer research and joined UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He received a post-doctoral research fellowship for his work on establishing novel mice models for head and neck cancer and new treatment options for this disease. Afterwards, Dr. Younes was accepted at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where he completed a residency and fellowship in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. In 2012, Dr. Younes advanced his education and completed a fellowship in facial plastics and reconstructive surgery at the Medical College of Virginia under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Godin. He earned his Board certification in April 2013 and has since used his education and training practicing general otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Younes is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, American Board of Otolaryngology, and American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive surgery. Dr. Younes clinical interests include treatment of facial plastics and reconstructive cases, pediatric disorders, sinus disorders and skin malignancies. His current affiliations include Gateway Regional Medical Center, Anderson Hospital, and Edwardsville Ambulatory Surgical Center.
