Dr. Basha is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) that specializes in Cataract, Refractive and Glaucoma Surgery. He performed a Glaucoma surgical Fellowship at the prestigious Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. His special interests include complex cataract surgery, intraocular lens explantation, iris repair, glaucoma surgery and refractive surgery. Dr. Basha has developed extensive expertise with presbyopia-correcting intraocular implant lenses and laser cataract surgery technology. He has authored over a dozen journal publications and is an Ad Hoc reviewer for The Journal of Retinal and Vitreous Diseases.
