I never seemed important to Dr. Wilkes. My appointments with her would last the bare minimum and she said to me many times, my issues were "situational," like they didn't matter. I would leave my 5 minute appointments with her feeling worse than before going in. Unfortunately, she would always be late to my appointments (20 minutes to an hour wait time), so I know she took time with other patients. I just wasn't as important as them, apparently. As a psychiatrist, I would recommend to her to listen to her patients. I hope she never makes anyone else feel this way.
