About Me

Dr. Wolslegel says her philosophy of care is about viewing the patient as a whole. "Most disease processes are complex, and treating a single complaint of a patient is not always efficient. That's why as a physician you have to have to broaden your scope a little bit and see if there are better solutions to the problem."

What People Say About Dr. Mae Wolslegel, DO

Of all the doctors and specialists I have ever seen in my life, this would be the ONLY doctor I would tell people to stay away from. I am not going to get into details here for it would be 10 pages long. Nobody has time for that, but after reading the reviews below, I just wanted to tell everyone that most of what is written here is TRUE and I had the same experiences. She simply has no bedside manner (will not listen to you, no empathy, always in a rush and repeats tests over and over that you do not need or have had already in last year within the same Reliant practice). This doctor was only one I had dreaded apprehensions of seeing each time when I had to until I was able to find a NEW doctor. (after careful research this time!)

She was my primary care for a while. I was not pleased. She’s condescending, doesn’t listen, and has no bedside manner. Find someone better.

Met her a few times, doesn’t like to listen, comes off condescending. Do yourself a favor and don’t even go to this office. Originally called to set up my annual physical. They didn’t have any appts till 10 months out, then when i arrived i found out it was not a physical but a meet and greet to go over my history with her. Cost me $258 and then had to wait months for another appt with her np, office gave me the wrong time and showed up 20 mins after and they wouldn’t see me.

She's usless, and a waste of time. She said I can keep taking 2000 units of vitimans daily for rest of my life, but if you do your homework vitiman D is stored in fat and released slowly, which means vitiman levels can get toxic do to slow release and higher intake. She didn't even recommend bloodwork would be taken periodically to monitor levels. And before you recommend dosage its common sense to do bloodwork first. Find another docter, but if not do your homework so u don't end up dead.

Dr. Wolslegal has been my primary for over 2 years, I have been in to see at least 5 times for different reasons. I will admit i wasn't sure i would like her after my 1st visit, but she has proved me wrong. She is professional, thorough, and i have recommended her to two other patients who agree with me that she is a good doctor.

Been a patient of Dr Wolslegel for over 5 years now and followed her from her practice in Plainfield CT to Webster MA. She is very thorough in her examination and key for me is that she looks to find the root of the issue, (without medication), rather than just treating symptoms with meds.

This DO is located at Reliant Internal Medicine. Not a nice person, disrespectful and talks over those who asked questions and wants answers regarding their medical condition. Will refer out to other specialists within in the facility she works for to increase revenue. Also, you have to speak and give all info to phone receptionist and then they transfer to the nurse, you have to start all over again with the nurse. Then the nurses call you back and give you your MDs message.

She doesn't listen to word you say. I have a disorder she is unfamiliar with, changed my med, that was working fine for me the last 20 years, i had relapse on my disorder, put me out of work, refused too put me back on the med i was using, and told me right out, i have no knowledge of your disorder and i can't help you. Read a book? Ask a colleague? Refer me yup one that does. If you don't have knowledge, why would you change the med and inflict hardship on a patient.

I left the office in tears, she was scolding me for not keeping appointments with specialists that I was not able to afford at the time. Not very empathetic. I ask her to stop yelling at me and talking to me like I was a child. She apologized but still I felt very upset and could not really speak any further.
